Program: SCOPE – (Spectrum Classroom Offering Potential through Education)
Program details:

  • Appropriate for young adults ages 19 to 24; staff to young adult ratio is typically 2:3

  • Curriculum consists of variety of communication, adaptive, and social skills required to function as independently as possible.

  • Session time consists of both 1:1 and small group instruction.

When it runs:

  • Typically two 3-hour sessions per week

  • Sessions run all year round

Program: the MEME Creators
Program details:

  • Group is aimed at individuals 16 to 22 diagnosed with ASD that have an interest in digital art and technology, and being creative.

  • Team-work, problem-solving and social skills art part of the group activities.

  • Staff to learner ratio is about 2:6

When it runs:

  • One 2.5-hour session per week

  • Sessions usually take place in the fall and the winter for about 10-15 weeks
