Program: Elementary - School Readiness Group (SRG)
Program details:

  • Children ages 7-9

  • Small group instruction; teacher-student ratio of 2:3 or 1:3

  • Focus is on following group and classroom routines independently, basic numeracy and literacy skills, development and maintenance of appropriate social and play skills

When it runs:

  • Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.


Program: STRIVE (Supporting Transitions: Reaching Independence Via Education)
Program details:

  • Learners ages 11-15; staff to child ratio is typically 2:3

  • Curriculum consists of a variety of communication/language, adaptive, and social goals

  • Small group instruction.

When it runs:

  • Typically two 3-hour sessions per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

  • Sessions run all year round


Program: Leisure Quest
Program details:

  • Group is aimed at individuals 8 to 12 diagnosed with ASD that have an interest in art, technology, and being creative.

  • Team-work, problem-solving and social skills art part of the group activities.

  • Staff to learner ratio is about 2:6

When it runs:

  • One 2-hour session per week during the evening

  • Sessions usually take place in the fall and the winter for about 10-15 weeks
